HumanTouch, LLC, today announced that it has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantify (IDIQ) Contract for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) CDC Information Management Services (CIMS) under the Small Business and 8a Infrastructure Contract with a ceiling value of $1.0 billion.
As one of only four successful bidders in both Small Business and 8(a) competitions, HumanTouch will lead the delivery of a portfolio of Information Technology (IT) services for the global leader in public health services, the CDC.
The CDC is responsible for a multitude of functions encompassing a broad array of services, with the overarching goal of improving the health and safety of all individuals regardless of their social standing. This system has evolved over time and currently consists of a network of interrelated public and private organizations with specific duties and charters to serve the US population at the local, state and national-levels.
